What every LSAT score from 120 to 180 gets you
A percentile tells you where you stand against other test takers. It doesn't tell you what the score buys. Type yours and you get both, plus the raw score it typically takes: the percentile from LSAC's current table, and how many of the 196 ABA law schools it clears the median at.
How the LSAT is scored
The current test has 3 scored sections: 2 Logical Reasoning and 1 Reading Comprehension, plus 1 unscored experimental section you can't identify while you're taking it. That's 75 to 78 scored questions depending on the form, and Logical Reasoning is 2/3 of your score. Your raw score (right answers, no penalty for wrong ones) converts to the 120 to 180 scale through a table that's set per test form, which is why the raw numbers on this page are ranges.
Percentiles come from LSAC's table for the 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 testing years, updated each summer; the percentile is the share of reported scores below yours. The medians come from each school's 2025 ABA 509 report (Fall 2025 entering class). As of the August 2026 test the LSAT is in-person only, with a new on-screen interface. Scoring is unchanged.
