5 Reasons I Secretly Enjoy Logic Games
Note: the LSAT no longer has Logic Games. LSAC removed the section in August 2024. The scored test is now 2 Logical Reasoning sections and 1 Reading Comprehension section, plus 1 unscored experimental section. This post stays up as an archive, and the reasoning skills still carry over, but you won’t see a game on test day.
Some of you email me to say how much you hate the LSAT. I already wrote a series on why I love the LSAT, but some of you still aren’t convinced. I’m not giving up.
Here are the top 5 reasons I enjoy Logic Games:
1. They’re like sudoku.
2. It’s satisfying to make a solid diagram and then quickly answer the questions.
3. Although the topic never matters, it’s fun to make fun of the games’ goofy topics.
4. After jumping from one question type to another in Logical Reasoning, it’s nice to finally have a bunch of related questions.
5. It’s the easiest section to learn. Really.
I've written free explanations for every question in LSAT PrepTest 159, 158, 157, 156, 155 and 154, with the right answer and why each wrong answer fails. All LSAT explanations are here.
