LSAT Unplugged Current LSAT format, no Logic Games

Free online practice test

Drills alone won't tell you where you stand. Take a full timed test in the current LSAT format.

Random questions off the internet come with no guarantee the answer key is even right. The Unplugged Practice Test is 4 timed sections in the current LSAT format, written by our team of top-scoring LSAT coaches using the same logic as the questions on official practice LSAT tests. You finish with a score and an explanation for every question.

2 Logical Reasoning sections 1 Reading Comprehension section 35 min each, timed $0, no card

What you get

4 timed sections with a real break: 3 Logical Reasoning, 1 Reading Comprehension, 35 minutes each. 3 count and 1 doesn't, and you won't know which until the end, exactly like test day. Same weighting as the real test, where LR is 2/3 of your score.

An explanation for every question, not just an answer key. Why the right answer is right, and what each wrong answer was built to make you think.

A score screen you can act on: raw score, an estimated scaled score on the 120 to 180 scale, and your accuracy by question type, so you know which types to drill next.

The same controls you'll have on test day: flag a question, skip it, come back. Save your progress and finish later from any device.

How it works

Step 1

Tell me where to send your results. One field. That's what saves your progress.

Step 2

Take the test. Sit all 4 sections in one go, or pause between sections and come back from any device.

Step 3

Read your score and every explanation. A copy lands in your inbox so you can review later.

Before you start

Is this an official LSAT?

No. This is an unofficial practice test and it is not endorsed by LSAC. Our team of top-scoring LSAT coaches wrote every question, using the same logic as the questions on official practice LSAT tests. They follow the current format (2 scored Logical Reasoning sections, 1 Reading Comprehension section, 1 unscored section, no Logic Games) and the same question types. Due to licensing restrictions from LSAC, these are not actual LSAT questions.

How long does it take?

4 sections at 35 minutes each, plus a 10-minute break after section 2, so about 2 and a half hours if you sit it straight through. You can stop between sections and pick up later. The timer only runs inside a section.

Will my score match the real thing?

Treat it as a starting line, not a verdict. The scaled score is an estimate, and if this is your first timed test, expect it to run low. The number that matters is the accuracy by question type, because that tells you what to work on.

Can I take it on my phone?

Yes, and the review screen works fine there. For the timed sections, a laptop is closer to the real test, which is on screen at a Prometric center.
