Logic Games left the LSAT in August 2024, and Logical Reasoning is now 2 of your 3 scored sections.

Analytical Reasoning was removed in August 2024 and a second scored Logical Reasoning section took its place. The Format Brief is 6 pages on what actually changed, what your old prep book is still good for (roughly half of it), and the 3 things to do this week.

What's inside

What the test is now, on one page, 2 scored Logical Reasoning sections, 1 Reading Comprehension, 1 unscored experimental, 120 to 180. Print page 6 and you're done.

6 tells your prep is out of date. Check them against whatever you're studying from. It takes about a minute, and any 1 of them settles it.

What still works in a pre-2024 book, the honest version, not the sales version. Every LR and RC chapter is fine, and the conditional logic you learned for games matters MORE now.

The 3 moves for this week, starting with the only practice test that tells you anything. 1 timed test in the current format, free from LSAC's LawHub.
